HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BOOK YOU?
The most commonly asked question! One without a one size fits all answer. We have to consider accommodation, travel, whether we are performing to backing track or with a band, size of venue, time of set up etc.
DO YOU PROVIDE ALL LIGHTING & PA EQUIPMENT YOURSELF?
Our Lady Valentine are a touring vocal group and, as such, generally play ready to perform venues, holiday parks, resorts and festivals. If we are performing with the band they will provide their own instruments, but P.A. and Lighting is to be provided by the venue or client.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO GET EVERYTHING SET UP?
Ready to play would require only a sound and light check. We use 4 wireless mics, 4 mic stands and 4 stools. A full list of tech requirements can be provided to the in-house stage, sound and light technicians.
For events which require us to set up full band, accessibility and parking are a must and we would need up to 2 hours to fully set up and soundcheck.

HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN THE BAND?
Our most basic show features 4 vocalists with bespoke backing tracks. We also have various backline options for a half band (drummer and guitarist) or full band (which also features bass and keys. If we are providing sound we will also have the 5th member, who makes the magic happen, our sound guy.
We use freelance vocalists from the Westend, broadway, tv and film (you can view some of them here).
In short anything from 4 to 12 people will make up the show you book.
3 vocalist options are available for smaller events and venues.
DO YOU OFFER ANY PAYMENT PLANS?
Of course! We have a 50% non refundable booking fee policy (relaxed to a time relative deposit in current Covid-19 world), with balance due either 24 hours before the show, or spread over 2-3 payments. Full payment upfront the cheapest option.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes! Most of the venues that we work with insist upon bands having insurance. Because of that, have £5,000,000 public liability insurance that we will send directly to your venue throughout the booking process.
WILL YOUR EQUIPMENT HAVE PAT CERTIFICATES?
Any equipment we are asked to supply will be PAT tested and any we source from outside companies is also legally required to be PAT tested by the provider.
DO I GET A DISCOUNT FOR MY CHARITY EVENT?
Absolutely! We are always super grateful when we are considered to perform at charity events and we would love to help support your cause. Because of that, any registered charity that books with us will receive an instant 20% discount.
DO YOU DO SPECIAL MUSIC REQUESTS?
As a rule, no. We have our setlist available to view here. In special circumstances we MAY be able to do something brand new, but we have a high standard at OLV and it will need to be tracked and rehearsed. Our DJ will take care of any special requests either side of our performance, if you should choose that option.
